I am truly amazed and disappointed you choose to give half a page to John Parry's offensive material (Argus, February 23).

I can only assume you are trying to incite anger by publishing the opinion of a person with such narrow vision.

The debate surrounding the report mentioned is important to the future of our children and has far more wide-reaching implications than Mr Parry has chosen to cite.

Indeed, you have allowed him to take a cheap shot at many minority groups, well represented in Brighton and Hove's population, struggling to raise the next generation of children under increasingly difficult circumstances.

I am sure they will all feel the struggle that much harder thanks to Mr Parry's unconstructive criticism.
