It certainly makes a change to read a review that is not afraid to point out any shortcomings a restaurant may have as well as give praise where praise is due.
In the past, I've never bothered reading restaurant reviews in any of our local "what's on" magazines or newspapers because they always seemed to be of restaurants that were also advertising in the publication, thus any review always appeared suspect.
Well done in giving Audrey Simpson free rein to give an honest and unfettered review of our local restaurants. I shall now be buying The Argus on a Wednesday for this sole purpose.
