Sammy Donnelly has challenged his teenage defensive trio to prove they have a future at Worthing.
The Rebels boss has taken heart from the efforts of goalkeeper Matthew May and defenders Neil Winter and Neil Francis during his side's recent poor run in division one.
Donnelly said: "These young players are my plusses from the season.
"They are gaining vaulable experience and it is up to them to learn from it.
"If they cannot make the necessary strides forward they cannot figure in my future plans."
Worthing's game at Bedford was today called off due to foot-and-mouth.
Bedford's New Eyrie ground is near an abattoir.
BOGNOR BOOST David Birmingham is back from suspension as Bognor entertain Yeading on the back of a run which has seen them lose just three of their last 20 games.
Birmingham has spent this week on trial at Bournemouth.
Defender Jay Pickering completed his first 90 minutes for two months in midweek and assistant boss Neil Hider said: "For the first time this season we have got back to virtually full strength."
