Why is it a certain member of our community has decided to make life difficult by raiding the local convenience store in The Gardens, Southwick, in daylight - not once but twice in two weeks?
The proprietors know everybody's name and are prepared to open all hours to serve the local community - even a couple of hours on Christmas Day.
These corner shops are fast becoming a thing of the past and need to be protected. These people do it as a service to the locals. Let's start looking after our local shop and, if possible - if anybody can remember anything from the evening of March 29 in The Gardens - do the right thing and contact the police. We do not want to lose our shop but will if nothing is done to protect it and its owners.
What is society coming to when making a living serving others is taken away from you?
