Engineering work over Easter is set to seriously disrupt services to the capital over the holiday period.
The main line between Victoria and Clapham Junction will be closed to allow essential engineering work to go ahead.
Operator Connex said services to Victoria would be significantly reduced.
Some trains will be diverted to London Bridge while other services will be cancelled.
Passengers are advised to expect delays over the holiday weekend and check whether the train they intend to catch is running.
Connex media relations manager David Ewart said: "The advice is for people to check the details of their particular train in advance but there will be significant alterations obviously."
The line will be closed while Railtrack conducts bridge repairs. Details of service alterations can be obtained on the Connex website www.connex.co.uk or from National Rail Enquiries on 0845 7484950.
