MONDAY: Bobby Zamora is ruled out by boss Micky Adams for at least two matches.

Zamora sustains hand and ankle injuries after scoring his 25th goal of the season against Mansfield.

Adams reveals: "The ankle is not too bad, but a bone in the hand has been displaced.

"He needs an operation on it that would rule him out for the rest of the season.

"The only other option is some manipulative treatment and some sort of covering which might see him through. We will see how the next two games go."

TUESDAY: The Seagulls stretch their unbeaten run in a dramatic finish at Rochdale.

Richard Carpenter fires them in front with a superb free-kick on 87 minutes, but Lee Todd levels with a similar free-kick five minutes into stoppage time.

Assistant Bob Booker questions the amount of added time played by ref Peter Walton.

"The ref has put up three minutes and we were into five when they scored, which is frustrating."

WEDNESDAY: Adams plays down a tunnel clash with Rochdale substitute Michael Oliver straight after the match.

Adams, returning from a 14-day dugout ban, explains: "It was just something he said. I didn't particularly like it but it was nothing really, just emotions running high."

Ground safety officer David Butterworth says: "I've had a word with the ref. He did not see it, so he will not be reporting it."

Charlie Oatway comes through a 1-0 win for the reserves against his old club Brentford at Worthing, courtesy of a Scott Ramsay strike.

Martin Thomas and Darren Freeman also play, while the fit-again Chris Allen makes his home debut.

Youngster Adam Hinshelwood is sent-off in the second half for two bookable offences.

Cardiff beat Barnet 1-0 at home.

THURSDAY: Albion win their fixture row with title rivals Chesterfield.

The Football League rules that the Withdean showdown postponed on March 24 should be played on Tuesday May 1 (7.45).

Chesterfield wanted to play a week earlier.

Zamora, back in the squad for Halifax after a rapid recovery, expects Albion to prosper in the Second Division.

"I think we will do really well," says the former Bristol Rovers marksman. "We have got some quality players here and I see no reason why we cannot stay up."

Albion defend an average 20 per cent increase in season ticket prices next season.

FRIDAY: Albion issue a hands off Bobby Zamora warning to Aston Villa after Paul Merson urges the Premiership club to sign the Seagulls' hotshot.

"We are not a selling club," insists chief executive Martin Perry. "If an offer came in we would take into account the size of it, whether it was the right move for the player and the views of the fans."
