County League chiefs have been told by the FA that they can extend the season until May 29.
But chairman Peter Bentley hopes to complete the fixtures by May 16 which will still be the latest finish in league history.
More postponements at the weekend took the number this season close to 1,100.
Bentley said: "All last week's postponements have been re-dated and at the moment we will finish on the 14th, providing there isn't too much more disruption by the weather."
Of senior clubs, second division Oakwood have the biggest backlog with half of their 34 league fixtures to fit in between now and their final game on May 16.
The Ryman League are due to announce this week whether they will extend their season by a fortnight.
Many clubs, including Lewes and Horsham, are way behind on fixtures but others are against an extension because of problems it would cause with players' contracts.
Hastings Town last night returned to winnings ways with a last gasp 2-1 victory at home to Dartford in the Dr Martens eastern division.
Striker Paul Jones clinched the points with an alert finish a minute from time.
Town dominated the opening exchanges with Stuart Myall, Stuart Playford and Duncan McArthur all going close. The pressure told on 24 minutes when Danny Simmonds converted a penalty awarded for a foul on Paul Jones.
Town lost their way in the second half and it was no surprise when the visitors levelled 14 minutes from time through Chris Arundel.
