This is the man police are hunting in connection with a machete attack which left a man needing more than 100 stitches.
Detectives believe the victim, who was slashed on his doorstep, was targeted by mistake.
The victim opened his front door to a group of four or five men in Platts Meadow, Billingshurst, at about 9.50pm on Thursday March 20.
One of the group walked into the flat and spoke to the 32-year-old victim before launching the vicious attack.
The weapon was about 12 to 15in long with a hook at the end.
The victim was taken to hospital suffering deep gashes to his head, arm, face and leg. He lost four pints of blood and will need plastic surgery.
Detective Constable Steve Skerrett said: "The attack was vicious and could have been even more serious.
"He suffered quite horrendous injuries as it was. We're still looking for a motive, and would very much welcome information that could help our inquiry."
The attacker was white, aged 25 to 35, 5ft 6in tall and clean shaven with a thin drawn face. He wore a dark green towelling hat with a dark logo and a brown or green combat-style jacket and trousers.
The other men with him were all in their 20s.
Anyone with information should telephone Det Con Skerrett at Steyning CID on 0845 6070999 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
