Has Brighton and Hove City Council completely lost its marbles and sense of priorities?
Last week it was complaining homeless people cost in excess of £1,000,000 (Argus, April 2).
What do we see now? "Cone-a-rama", which is costing us, the taxpayers, £14,000 (Argus, April 7).
Not only is it an eyesore, it is also a distraction to drivers at one of the busiest road junctions in the city, especially because there is a pedestrian crossing just around the corner.
Surely a more appropriate place for these cones would have been on the south side of Kings Road, between the piers, and the money donated to a more worthy cause?
