A tremendous 74th minute goal by Craig McIntosh denied Worthing a fourth successive win in their division one clash at home to Northwood.
Former Albion defender Stuart Tuck gave Rebels the lead with a 59th minute penalty after Ben Carrington was brought down.
But McIntosh forced a 1-1 draw in spectacular fashion with a 25-yard shot which beat keeper Matthew May's outstretched hand.
The match ended controversially with Worthing's Mark Burt being sent off a minute from time following an off-the-ball incident with Dave Nolan.
Burt was dismissed for violent conduct, having initially been fouled by Nolan, who was booked for the tackle.
Rebels, with only one home win in the last five months, threatened just before the break when Tuck had a free kick tipped over by keeper Paul Riordan.
Lawrence Yaku wasted a good chance for Northwood before Riordan denied Carrington after Rice set him up in front of goal.
David Birmingham hit a hat-trick as Bognor thrashed lowly Romford 5-0 at Nyewood Lane.
Rocks were frustrated until the 43rd minute when Birmingham crossed to the far post where the ball was met by the diving Guy Rutherford to leave keeper Stuart Horne with no chance.
Bognor extended their lead in the 55th minute when Nicky Wyatt was brought down just outside the edge of the box and Birmingham drilled in a low cross which was rifled home at the near post by Matt Russell.
Within a minute Birmingham rifled in a low drive past keeper Horne.
He hit his second on 85 minutes after being set up by his brother Michael before adding a late third following up Neil Scammell's chip.
Bognor boss Jack Pearce said: "I know Romford are a struggling club but they play with a lot of spirit and for the first time this season we have been able to cope with this and put them to bed."
Horsham and Marlow produced some good football in poor conditions at Queen Street with Hornets emerging as 3-2 winners in division two.
They went ahead after just 54 seconds. Roger Barnes floated a ball into Marlow area and Steve Flain headed past goalkeeper Gary Cockerill from eight yards.
It was 2-0 after 20 minutes. Gary Charman broke down the left and rolled the ball into the path of Gavin Geddes, whose powerful shot cannoned off the left post before rebounding off Cockerill's back into the net.
Marlow pulled one back in the 65th minute from the penalty spot after John Kirby was penalised in tackling Nicky Ryder. James Pritchard converted.
The equaliser came five minutes later. Ryder chased a long ball out of defence which Horsham keeper Ian Chatfield looked to have covered.
The ball stuck in the mud allowing Ryder to reach it first and he stabbed it into the goal from 25 yards.
Horsham regained the lead after 78 minutes.
Geddes fired the ball in from the left side of the penalty area and Flain bundled it over the line at the far post.
