Mark Jones and John Limpus are unstoppable. They followed up victory last month in the Sussex CA's two-up team time trial by winning the East Sussex CA's two-up.
It means GS Stella have won nine times already this season.
The 31-mile course started and finished at Laughton and took in Boship, Horam, Heathfield and Ringmer.
The teams must stay together as it is the time of the second rider that counts.
If it had been the first rider whose time counted then the second placed team, Steve Dennis and Andy Seltzer (East Grinstead CC), would have narrowed the gap.
Seltzer said: "Steve was really flying. Towards the end I had to keep shouting to him to slow down as he kept leaving me behind. He would have gone faster on his own."
The more evenly matched Jones and Limpus recorded 1hr.11min.13sec while Dennis and Seltzer clocked 1hr.14min. 6sec.
Third fastest were Simon McNamara and Richard Sutton (VC Etoile) with 1hr.14min.30sec. McNamara is on the comeback trail after a back injury last season.
Fourth place went to Hastings pair Nick Rudkin and Steven Holland, whose time of 1hr.16min.11sec was the fastest by a veteran team.
The fastest male/female team were Andy Attwood and Nikke Treacy, of Brighton Excelsior, who clocked 1hr.26min.47sec for tenth place.
Brighton Mitre are promoting two open hill time trials over Easter. On Saturday there is a 10-mile event starting in Kirdford (3pm). Monday's 25-mile event (7.30am) takes in Fulking, Edburton, Upper Beeding, Shoreham and Henfield, with a tough finish over the final three miles from Poynings to the top of Saddlescombe Hill. The HQ is Brighton Rugby Club at Waterhall.
The field for the Ten includes Liz Milne (GS Strada), last season's women's national best all-rounder. Promoter Robin Johnson says: "She will probably ruin the day for most of the men."
Steve Dennis hopes to repeat his 2000 win in the 25 although other top riders are competing.
