Sidlesham manager Ian Hillman will be without four first choice players tomorrow when his side meet Sidley United in the John O'Hara League Cup final at Burgess Hill.
Striker Dave Milkins is suspended while Simon Elley, Dave Pettican and Lee Mould are all unavailable due to work commitments as Sidlesham. like Sidley, try to lift the cup for the first time.
The absence of Milkins and Mould blunts Hillman's strikeforce but he said: "We have shared the goals around this season and we only need to score one more than them to win it."
Sidley boss Dickie Day has no such problems as his side try to land the first piece of silverware in what could prove to be a league and cup double. Midfielder Jimmy Watson has a slight hamstring strain while frontman Gerard Moyse was due a run-out with the reserves to prove his fitness and midfielder Chris Copley is back from suspension.
Day said: "Everyone has declared themselves fit. It's funny what a cup final can do. This one is producing miracles."
The two sides have not met this season in the league but both managers have the utmost respect for each other.
Hillman, who retires as Sidlesham manager at the end of this season, said: "Sidley came out of division two a couple of seasons ago, winning the league and cup double, and we have emulated them to a certain extent having done the same last year.
"They have acquitted themselves well in division one and are a good side."
Day said: "Sidlesham have a never-say-die attitude. I think both sides will be going for the throats from the off."
