Arundel's John Rees dealt Pagham's title hopes a massive blow last night.
Rees curled home a superb 25-yard free-kick to give Mullets a 4-3 home win over Richie Reynolds' high-flyers.
Pagham led twice through Ashley Edwards and Simon Fitt, who was later dismissed.
Arundel have now done the double over their derby rivals and boss Mick Rowland said: "We really got at them."
Paul McMichael hit a late winner for Steyning and set up a Division Three Cup final against Haywards Heath.
Division one: Arundel 4 (Wimbleton 36, Arnold 53, Wincell 60, Rees 87), Pagham 3 (A. Edwards 32, Fitt 51, Poulton 74).
Division Three Cup semi-final: Steyning 2 (Garman 15, McMichael 89), Ifield 1 (Sheeran 88).
