Faulty street lights and potholes can now be reported with just a click of your mouse.
A fault reporting form on West Sussex County Council's web site can be emailed to the area highways office.
Faults which can be reported include street lights, potholes, uneven paving slabs, blocked drains, faulty traffic lights, missing road signs and fly-tipping.
Derrick Fawcett, head of highway network services, said: "With increasing numbers of people having home access to the internet we are looking at new ways to improve our service delivery.
"We inspect roads, street lights and traffic signs on an ongoing basis and regularly clean drains by the road.
"But with more than 2,000 miles to maintain we can't be everywhere at once and conditions can change quickly especially when affected by adverse weather."
