Albion have their leader back for tonight's potential championship clincher at relegation-haunted Halifax.
Boss Micky Adams has confirmed to the Argus that skipper Paul Rogers returns to the side for the showdown at the Shay Stadium. Rogers, 36, and fellow midfielder Steve Melton have alternated in the last three matches.
Adams revealed: "Dodge will definitely play, although I am not sure who I will leave out."
The Seagulls will land their first title for 36 years and with it a cheque for £25,000 if they win and Cardiff don't at Mansfield, but Rogers will have to wait to get his hands on the trophy.
It will not be presented until the final home game against Chesterfield next Tuesday.
Macclesfield visit Withdean before that on Saturday and four points from the last four matches will be enough for Albion, irrespective of other results.
"I don't care when we win it or where it is," Adams said. "If it's at Halifax great, but if we have to wait until the last day at Shrewsbury that's fine.
"I envisage the same sort of game tonight as we had at Carlisle on Saturday.
"I am slightly surprised that Halifax are in the bottom two, because they looked very organised at Withdean earlier in the season.
"It's not about them though, it is about what we do and any sort of result will be a good one."
Another victory will complete a club record eight doubles in a season to add to the record 22nd clean sheet achieved at Carlisle.
Adams been in contact with his former No. 2 Alan Cork to congratulate him on Cardiff clinching promotion with last Saturday's draw at York.
"I think it's a great achievement," Adams said. "It is never easy moving into any club during the season, regardless of the fact that they've had a bit more money to spend than anyone else."
