Car park attendants have done their bit to stop crime by helping police arrest a local villain.

They spotted him in the Regency Square car park in Brighton three days after he had come out of prison.

The thief had already taken a car stereo and a mobile phone from a BMW before he was caught. Now he's been banged up again.

There's a moral here for this thief and others who may think car parks are easy pickings.

Thanks to committed car park staff and closed-circuit cameras, there's a good chance they'll be caught.
