A teenager was punched and kicked repeatedly by two men who stole his wallet.
The 18-year-old, from Langley Green in Crawley, was approached by the offenders in Burdock Close in Broadfield.
One man demanded money and threatened to beat him up if he did not hand over his wallet.
The victim handed over his wallet with £20 inside but was then punched and kicked by the offenders.
He was taken to Crawley Hospital by ambulance where he needed stitches for a gash close to his eye.
The attack took place on Friday, April 20, at 11.15pm.
PC Mark Thomas is appealing for witnesses to the robbery to call him on 0845 60 70 999, especially two people who helped the victim after the attack.
