I note from The Argus (April 25) the following:

Page 5: £700,000 estimate for repairs to Undercliff wall and £10 million to replace the King Alfred.

Page 9: £60,000 for fencing to keep travellers off new sites. Page 14: £21 million for restoration of the Dome.

Before Brighton and Hove City Council spends all our money, what would be the possibility of a new water tap (say £25) on the lagoon end of the prom?

In this way, we can have water to our beach huts - for which we pay rent and rates - all the year.

It is now three weeks since I was told "it will be on for the weekend". Come on, wake up. Easter has gone. Spring bank holiday will soon be here.
