What exactly is wrong with a sex shop (Argus, April 26), or, indeed, pornography?
Steve Stevens's attitude belongs in the distant past. Sex isn't bad.
It's this kind of closed-minded thinking that means sex is a rarely-discussed subject. Such taboos lead inadvertently to such things as under-age pregnancy.
Holland has one of the lowest teenage pregnancy rates in Europe and I expect this is due largely to how openly the Dutch talk about sex.
They have many sex shops there and I think they are a good role model for the rest of us.
I hope Worthing Borough Council lets open-mindedness prevail.
