Those who complain about the frequent references to Ivor Caplin in The Argus should be reminded this is in sharp contrast to his predecessor, Mr Sainsbury, who - when he wasn't "invisible" - did little or nothing for the people of Hove all the time he was in office.
Ivor Caplin is often mentioned because he hit the boards running when elected and has been running around for the people of Hove ever since.
