How would other children feel towards their young sister or brother ("Blair to unveil baby bond savings plan", Argus, April 26)? It may be a good thing if it is not political propaganda.

I have already met one mother who is expecting a baby and who has three others say she doesn't want this baby bond saving plan. Why? Because she loves her other children, too, and feels she wants them all treated the same.

However, for families with a new baby who already have children, the set amount for the bond could be divided equally between all the children of that family. Thus all the children would be treated the same and there would be no friction between them when the bond matures.
