Am I the only one who gets wound up at the mention of the "English regions"?
There is no such thing as an English region. They are an artificial creation of Brussels. This is the "Europe of the regions" policy - the once great nation-states are divided up and the constituent parts turned against each other to compete for grants, development and jobs.
Of course, Mr Blair is no stranger to divide and rule. That is why he pushed through the devolution of Scotland and Wales and then unleashed the loathsome Robin Cook to tell us there is no such thing as being British. No, there isn't any more, Mr Cook. It's just a pity we weren't consulted on Britain's destruction.
I am not a South-Easterner and I don't like chicken tikka masala, so who should I vote for in the General Election?
