Police have launched a new appeal for people who witnessed a pub brawl.
About 40 people were involved in a fight that led to police deciding to order staff at The Slurping Toad pub in Chichester to close early.
More than 20 officers and two dog handlers were sent to the pub opposite Chichester Cathedral to deal with the incident.
About 300 people were inside when violence flared on Sunday at about 10.20pm. It led to four people being charged with public order offences.
Police said they were anxious to show that violence on licensed premises would not be tolerated.
A spokesman said: "The group that had been fighting were identified but due to the volatile situation, it was decided to have the premises closed early and to call for further police assistance."
Witnesses can contact Sergeant Andy Parr, of Bognor police, on 0845 6070999.
