Two young men unloaded builder's refuse from the back of a pick-up truck in the area between the railway, the A26 and the river the other evening.
I challenged them to re-load the refuse. They drove away.
I telephoned the police and gave up waiting for an answer after 13 minutes.
Later, I saw a white Escort with an out-of-date tax disc. Cyclists were complaining (Argus, May 9) about fly-tipping and dumped cars at Southerham because it obstructs their route.
