Daisy the pig is keeping the sun at bay during the hot weather - by being layered with suncream.
Workers at Drusillas Zoo Park have been applying factor 10 cream to the fair-skinned Kune Kune pig as temperatures soar near the eighties.
Five-year-old Daisy is one of several animals at the park in Alfriston, near Polegate, to receive the cream treatment.
Buzz, Wendy and Harry the guinea pigs plus a bat are also being creamed to avoid getting burned.
Drusillas events co-ordinator Ian Blight said: "Because Daisy is very fair-skinned she can burn just as quickly as humans.
"So it is important that we shield her and some of the animals here from the sun by applying sun cream."
The good weather has sparked a boom in trade for the park, which had to close for three weeks because of the foot-and-mouth epidemic.
More than 2,000 visitors flocked through its gates during the weekend, making it the second busiest weekend this year.
