A glorious show has been planned to celebrate 100 years of Brighton and Hove Albion.
More than 2,000 Albion fans are expected to join sports personalities and many of the clubs heroes past and present.
The current championship team will sit alongside some of the greatest names in the history of the club.
Compered by Des Lynam and a string of other sports personalities, supporters will be able to join in one of the proudest moments of the Albion.
The Third Division champions trophy will be on display and organisers have put together a presentation of video clips and action shots from the most exhilarating Albion matches.
All of the 1,000 seats at dinner tables for the Albion's Centenary Evening of Legends have been sold but the club hopes to pack the balcony of the Brighton Centre with up to 1,000 more people for the event on Friday.
Albion chief executive Martin Perry said: "During the evening we will be recalling some of the great moments from the club's history and interviewing many of the people and players who have made such a tremendous contribution to our past."
Albion have already celebrated promotion to the Second Division and also won the championship, led by manager Micky Adams, following a tense end to the season.
Thousands turned out to toast their heroes during an open-top victory bus celebration throughout Brighton and Hove.
The team were also presented to the crowd at Hove Town Hall in Norton Road.
The Albion hopes it will be one of the most spectacular events to have been staged by the club so far, which will point to the history and achievements of the club during the past 100 years.
The class of 2000/01 will be there to add to the glories of past players and managers.
Albion's commercial manager Kevin Keehan said: "It's a one-off event and I'm sure every Albion fan would want to be there."
Tickets, priced £10 or £6 concessions, are on sale at the ticket office at 5 Queen's Road, Brighton, or call 01273 776992.
