A £240,000 boost has been secured to continue repairs and renovations in Hastings' historic Old Town area.
Nineteen shops in have been repaired during the past four years, leaving 23 to be renovated during the next three.
The scheme, managed by Hastings Borough Council, will be funded by £130,000 from English Heritage, £30,000 from the council and £90,000 of European cash.
The Old Town is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the town.
It comes alive during Old Town Week in the summer with colourful processions, open-air music and stalls.
Councillor Mike Bigg said: "Securing funding for the continuation of repairs to these historic buildings is excellent news. This will play an important part in the regeneration of the town."
