The two constables who booked the Prescott cars (Argus, May 12) are only to be praised. I wish they could be transferred to Worthing.

There is a single yellow line on my side of the road but, at 4.30pm, when I come home from work, my colleague has to drop me in the middle of the road.

On Saturday, when I get a taxi home, it is not unknown to need to double park.

Single yellow lines, double yellow lines, corners and pavements - it does not seem to matter.

I am amazed at the number of drivers who do not know the time or the day of the week. One day, someone will die or be badly burned because of their selfish attitude.
