A band of drummers helped turn one Brighton couple's wedding into a mini Mardi Gras.
Neil Wise and his new Indian wife Farah turned their big day into a seafront carnival with help from their friends in the Carnival Co-operative samba ensemble.
The musicians led a procession down the city promenade after the marriage ceremony at the Royal Pavilion on Saturday.
Mr and Mrs Wise, of Lewes Road, were escorted down Kings Road by the big band.
Mr Wise said: "I have lived in Brighton for about ten years and we both love it here. We wanted to include all the best bits about living here in our wedding, so we got married at the Pavilion, threw a bit of a carnival on the seafront to fit in with the Brighton Festival, followed by belly dancers and a band at the reception."
Some bystanders joined in the festivities and danced along with the parade's infectious rhythm.
The bride's parents Ramzan and Zarin Bishnani, from London, said the wedding embraced both English and Indian culture.
