John Stephens smashed 86 not out as Firle recorded their second win of the season at home to Preston Village.
Stephens spearheaded a successful run chase as Firle overhauled the visitors' total of 140-9 to win by six wickets. Shaun Haslam hit 37 for Preston Village.
Firle are one of three teams locked on ten points at the top of table.
Also there are Selmeston who won by 40 runs against Burwash Weald. Ben Filby top scored with an unbeaten 69 as Selmeston amassed 163-8, Tim Carter's 3-50 being the pick of the bowling. Ian Long hit 38 in reply and Danny Long added 32 but Burwash Weald were dismissed for 123 with Filby taking 3-12 to complete a fine individual day.
Bells Yew Green are the other team at the top after their five wicket win against Withyham. Sunil Patel took 5-27 as Withyham were bowled out for 161, D. Keeting hitting 41. Dominic Bowen (50) and Steve Huggett (33) then led a successful reply.
Graham Primett's unbeaten 50 helped East Dean to a ten wicket triumph against Blackboys. The visitors had earlier been dismissed for just 67 with Bruce Elkington and Andrew Trapp picking up three wickets apiece.
Alfriston recovered from a 69-5 to post a total of 134-8 against Nutley.
Lee Poulton struck 35 before Gavin Cooper (26) and Stuart Pierce (24) steered them out of trouble. Hosts Nutley were then skittled out for 65 with Paul Wilson claiming 5-23.
Division two: Mayfield 138-3 (Mike Pooley 40no) beat Laughton 137-7; Ridgewood 158 (Simon Aldis 49, Tony Wakley 46, Steve Barns 5-25) beat Mayfield II 123 (Gary Wakley 4-23); Priory Ruins conceded to Denton.
