Early leaders Balcombe followed up last week's success against Staplefield with another victory on Saturday but this time it was by a lot more comfortable margin.
The defending champions only sneaked home with three balls to spare in their six-wicket win of the previous week but this time their bowlers tore into West Hoathly to dismiss them for a meagre 55 to leave an easy task in reply.
Paul Elliott with 6-27 and Gary Paddon with 3-28 were the heroes with the ball before Alan Smith then hit an unbeaten 32 to wrap up a nine-wicket triumph.
Ashdown Forest's Dave Plowman hit a superb 110 in their 199-9 against visiting Lingfield as Mick Webster took 3-38, but had to settle for a draw as Lingfield made 137-5 in reply with Peter and Mick Webster making 34 and 32 not out respectively.
Promoted Horsted Keynes put Newchapel in and they put on a daunting 266-5 declared with Darren Crichton cracking an excellent 115 not out as Steve Boyes supported with 83. Keynes finished on 197-7 in reply with Stewart Fuller (81) and Steve Walker (63) the main run-makers as David Ingram took 3-42.
Crawley Down picked up a seven-wicket win over Chailey as they overhauled the 192-4 target (opener Toby Glyn 84no, Danny Andrews 65) with Terry Everest (81) and Graham Rushton (62) leading the charge.
Dormansland were also successful as Keith Scott's 6-23 off 11 overs saw Streat restricted to 83 before opener Nick Hellier (45 not out) helped them reach 84-5 with David Ingram (3-42) causing them a few problems on their way to a five-wicket victory.
Staplefield, narrow losers the previous week, drew with visitors Preston Nomads III, who put them into bat and saw them make 149-9 declared with Steve Barker amassing 56. Preston's response saw Steve Hill (61) and Peter Gann (39) lead the batting but excellent tight bowling by Tom Barker and Mark Shrubb, with two wickets apiece, saw the visitors defend a small total.
Hurstpierpoint failed to force victory against Colemans Hatch, who hung on at 147-9 in reply to Hurst's 178-9 declared which owed much to Dave Parsons' 51 as Tim Rowson (4-23) and Callum Warnock (3-52) made inroads. Rowson (45) and Keith Bowden (43) top scored for Hatch as Pat Coleman took 3-26.
In the Miller Trophy, Neil Green hit an unbeaten 180 for Hassocks III against St Andrews III to post a new high for the competition.
