Police have a stark and simple message for the desperate dealers in drugs this summer in Brighton and Hove.
They will be shown no mercy and every effort will be made to stamp out their despicable and dangerous trade.
Drugs are big business in Brighton and Hove. Estimates are that £1 million a week is spent by addicts in the city.
Much of this is gained through crime.
There is an average of at least one death a week through drugs while many more lives are ruined through addiction.
Our report today of a drugs raid shows the hardship police often have to endure when carrying out these operations.
People suspected of drug dealing often do not care about the conditions in which they live, which in turn affects neighbours.

Dealers now know city residents are fed up with their activities and will back the war by police against them.
