A 45-year-old man accused of killing his wife has appeared before a judge at Lewes Crown Court.
Father-of-two Robert Anscombe denies murdering wife Debra, 40, at their bungalow in Cissbury Avenue, Peacehaven, on March 1.
Mrs Anscombe, a nurse, died from stab wounds.
Her husband spoke only to confirm his name and enter the not guilty plea during the brief hearing in front of Judge Richard Brown.
He was remanded in custody and will stand trial on November 26.
