Firle and Selmeston remain the only two unbeaten sides in division one of the Cuckmere Valley League.
An impressive spell of bowling from Richard Gravett helped Firle to victory over Withyham.
Gravett claimed 5-42 as Withyham were dismissed for 167, Chris Piper scoring 39 and Matthew Johnson 33. That was in reply to Firle's 203-6 which included 80 for John Stephens and 51 for Richard Ellinor.
Selmeston recorded their third win of the campaign after posting a total of 203-7 against Bells Yew Green which included 65 from Mick Baldwin and 35 from Adrian Beal. In reply, Bells were bowled out for 152 despite 47 from Chris Beasleigh.
Alfriston moved up to third after winning at Preston Village. Lee Poulton (68) and Ali Batchelor (39) helped Alfriston reach 166-9. Tim Burnage scored 54 not out in reply but the home side were dismissed for 141 with Chris Bloomer taking 3-19 and Simon Harmer 2-13 off nine overs.
Blackboys recovered from 25-4 to post a total of 139-9 against Nutley, with Colin Albright scoring 49 as Grant Olive claimed 3-16. In reply, Nutley were rolled over for 71 with Mark Dann (6-21) and Chris Turner (4-17) doing the damage.
Burwash Weald recorded their first win of the season at East Dean. The hosts scored 151-4 with Mike Dixon hitting 42 not out as Danny Long claimed 4-22. Graham Primett took 3-25 when Burwash replied but good knocks from Graham Clout (41 not out) and Rob French (39) saw the visitors to victory with three wickets to spare.
Division two: Firle II 75 lost to Denton 231-7 (Norman Hopson 62, Rob Coggins 43); Malling 165-3 (Dean Richmond 63, Charlie Townley 61no) beat Mayfield 164-9 (John Cook 48, Paul Smith 39no, Mark Richmond 4-28); Laughton 98-1 (Colin Turner 33 no) beat Ri1dgewood 96 (Frank Richardson 3-25); Mayfield II 170 (Leigh Barnes 55, Lewis Billcourt 47, Ian Scott 4-26) beat Bells Yew Green II 162 (John Allum 51, Simon Chapman 5-23).
