Following their impressive 120-113 win over Hampshire's probable Johns Trophy team, Sussex roared to another victory over Surrey at Lancing.
The margin was 126-92 but Surrey were missing all their major players.
Brenda Bailey, Mary Wilson, Doris Wickenden and Aimee Truran went from 10-4 ahead at ten ends to 17-5 at 15 and won 25-9 over B. Handcock.
Daphne Kennard, who received her badge, Phyl Manser, Mary Williams and Ann Moore moved from 10-6 ahead at ten ends to win 22-13 against K. Cordery.
There was a 25-14 success for Helen Jones, who received her badge, Sue Small, Sheila Niner and Jean Bowles.
Jean Meneely, Beryl Hobbs-Pullen, Joan Rogers and Debbie Stavrou went from 11-3 up at ten ends to 14-11 down at 15 went but scored eight shots over the last three ends to win 20-17 against S. King.
A single on the 21st end enabled Joan Howson, Vera Lammie, Rosemary Smithers and Peggy Rhodes to finish 18-18 against Pat Jarvis.
After leading for the first half of the match, Jean Noble, debut-making Pat Fulcher, Linda Nye and Lena Inch lost 21-16 to M. Heath.
The Popes Mead team of Gill Barker, Beryl and Ted Cousins and Mick Law raced 16-2 ahead after nine ends and went on to win 26-10 at 18 ends in the Mid Sussex open mixed fours tournament at home to Eileen Towner, Pat and Bob Younger and Tom Towner of Newick.
Only 16 ends were played at Isle of Thorns where N. Cooke, J. Russell, J. Small and B. Russell went 15-4 up at ten ends and won 24-5 over club colleagues L. Pipe, L. and J. Way and Tony Pipe.
From only 8-5 ahead after six ends, Newdigate's Mary Gull, Rose Pickering, Bob Harrow and Mick Gull went on to win 23-10 after 19 ends at Popes Mead over Tony Ceaton, Helen Keating, R. Hayward and M. Jones.
Peacehaven's S. Dennis, R. and A. Taylor and Vic Dennis went from 12-9 ahead at 12 ends to a 27-13 win at 19 ends away to E. Goodwin, J. Hollands, E. Harris and P. Hollands, of Bexhill Spartans.
Roy Stoner, Dot Holt, J. and M. Butcher, of Rotherfield, got four shots on the 18th end and survived a late rally to win 20-18 at Barcombe over D. Brooks, T. Jarvis, M. Smith and J. Jarvis.
Southwater's J. Herd, L. Leech, S. and J. Bonwick dropped a four on the 11th end to trail 11-9 but then got 5,7 and won 29-18 at home to M. Reitze, G. and P. Kane and T. Reitze, of Southwick Park.
Chichester's J. Heasman, Bridget Collins, April Janman and Brian Talmage were 20-3 down after 12 ends at home to A. Owen, R. Harwood, R. Pettet and Colin Owen, of Storrington. They won seven of the last nine ends and only lost 26-24.
