On Tuesday, May 22, I was waiting for a bus in Churchill Square, Brighton, but had about 40 minutes to wait - the one I required only ran once an hour - so I went and sat down on one of the round "gardens".
I then fainted and really hit my head and shoulder when I fell.
A young lady called the ambulance service. She was extremely kind and stayed with me until they arrived.
I could not move at all and three ambulance attendants assisted me. I really cannot express my appreciation of the way they helped me.
Not enough publicity is attributed to this very good service. I felt very alone lying on the pavement and desperately needed to get to my home.
These gentlemen and other ambulance teams who give such good and dedicated service seem to lack acknowledgement in this world.
