Recalled Mark Robinson and the other Sussex bowlers will have Graeme Hick in their sights when the county resume their Championship challenge at Horsham tomorrow.
Hick's international career appears to be over but nothing seems to inspire the Worcestershire captain more than the sight of the Sussex attack.
He has scored eight of his 112 first-class centuries against the county and two years ago, in Worcestershire's last visit to Cricketfield Road, he made a match-saving ton against Sussex.
Hick scored his 99th and 100th hundreds in the same match against Sussex at New Road in 1998, ironically going to his 100th hundred with a single off Robinson.
"Hick's obviously a key player for them and his will be a big wicket," said Robinson who comes in for only his second Championship appearance of the season in place of the injured Robin Martin-Jenkins.
"But Horsham is a big week for us. We've lost our way a little bit since beating Notts in the Championship, but we have two games in a row at home now and it's up to us to get back on track."
Robinson has been frustrated by his lack of Championship cricket this season now that Sussex have changed the shape of their side by playing two spinners.
"The club have decided to go down that line and time will tell whether it's a success," added Robinson. "Mark Davis is a quality performer and Umer Rashid is turning into a good all-rounder so there's every chance it will be successful.
"But I've got an opportunity in this game and hopefully I can take it."
James Kirtley will again lead Sussex in the absence of Chris Adams who is attending the funeral of his grandfather in Derbyshire. His place in the side will go to either House, who made 80 for the second team last week, or Tony Cottey.
Sussex (probable): Montgomerie, Goodwin, Yardy, Zuiderent, Cottey or House, Rashid, Prior, Davis, Kirtley, Lewry, Robinson.
