A man missing for five months was today featuring on more than one million milk cartons in a renewed effort to trace him.

Cartons featuring a picture of Stephen Oram, 32, will be sold in 760 Iceland stores nationwide throughout July.

His will be the first case highlighted on 1.5 million milk cartons by the National Missing Persons campaign, which was launched yesterday in London.

To raise awareness, Mr Oram's face was pictured on both sides of a 13 metre trailer in front of telly presenter John Stapleton, Mr Oram's sister Caroline and families of other missing people.

Mr Oram, who lived in Norman Road, St Leonards, vanished in February, shortly after he lost his job as a chef at the Adelphi Hotel in Warrior Square.

He was staying with one of his sisters at her home in nearby Hastings but went missing without taking any clothes or belongings.

Miss Oram, 26, friends and family have been distributing posters bearing his picture across Hastings and St Leonards.

Appeals for help in finding Mr Oram have already featured on the back of lorries without success.

Miss Oram is hoping the milk carton project will bring fresh clues.
