Detectives have released a man who was questioned for 24 hours about the death of a convicted drugs dealer.
Derek Finch, 38, was found naked on a bed at his flat in Carleton Road, Chichester, on August 20 after a party.
A post-mortem examination proved inconclusive and further tests are being carried out to try to discover the cause of death, which police say was drug-related.
A man of 30 from Chichester was arrested on Tuesday evening. He has now been released on police bail without charge.
Mr Finch had served a two-year jail term for supplying Ecstasy in night clubs at Bognor and Chichester.
Police have searched drains near his home and also appealed for help in finding a couple seen using a ladder to climb into his flat at a time when Mr Finch was already dead.
