Crawley boss Billy Smith is hoping Crystal Palace can help him out of his first selection crisis of the new season.
Goalkeeper Andy Little will be suspended from Monday week after he was sent off by Hove referee Matt Knight during Monday's 3-3 draw with Chelmsford.
Little got his marching orders for bringing down Danny Hockton outside the box. Crawley don't know the length of his ban yet, but he could be ruled out for three games and the suspension will definitely start against Bath City on September 11.
Smith watched a Palace XI beat Albion 3-1 in a closed doors friendly on Wednesday and is hoping to take one of the Eagles' young goalkeepers on loan.
It is the second time Little has been sent off for the same offence. He got his marching orders against Bath two years ago and Reds went on to lose 7-1, a certain Bobby Zamora, who was on loan from Bristol Rovers at the time, hitting a hat-trick.
At least Smith has a virtually full-strength squad available for tomorrow's tough-looking test at promoted Tiverton.
Luke Anderson is ready to return after missing the first four games while he took part in the World Student Games in Bejing.
Midfielder Jimmy Dack, a second half substitute on Monday, is battling for a starting role and only Matt Woolf (leg) and Barrie Westgate (broken arm) remain on the sidelines.
