I remind all citizens of Brighton and Hove who are opposed to the possible closure or privatisation of Knoll House residential and respite service for older people to sign the petition against such a move or to lobby their MP or ward councillor.
National care standards having to be implemented by the year 2007 seems to be the cause of a lot of the problems forcing private care homes to close or threaten to close.
Would it not be better to postpone for an indefinite period this recommendation or even finish with it permanently?
