Computer game cash-ins on the movies reach a new low with this hastily-assembled and seriously underwhelming effort.
The PlayStation2's capabilities are seriously under-used as this standard race 'em up features the character's from the equally-unimpressive Flintstones film which starred Mark Addy from The Full Monty and Kristen Johnson from Third Rock From The Sun.
We are forced to question why we should part ways with our hard-earned cash for The Flintsones in Viva Rock Vegas, essentially a re-hash of every other fun racing game.
Players can choose from 15 Stone Age vehicles and burn feet in various tracks from Bedrock right up to the final in Rock Vegas.
The more gem stones you collect, the closer you get to winning Wilma's heart.
If you don't want to do that, you can always gain some small satisfaction from shunting Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble from here to kingdom come.
Real disappointment with this game suggests only fervent fans would look forward to playing it.
Kids and Flintstones fanatics may gleam some excitement from it but everyone else will just feel they've hit rock bottom.
