The people who are making such a fuss about the traffic attendants are typical of society today.
Presumably they have all passed their driving test. If so, they should realise there is nothing new about the parking restrictions around the city, with the exception of residents' parking bays.
They seem to think by parking on a stretch of road with double yellow lines they will be okay if the wheels are not touching the lines, so they park half on the pavement, restricting passage of wheel chairs and prams.
What they don't like is that, at last, they have been found out.
There would not be such a to-do if they had observed the restrictions and not selfishly parked where and how they liked, causing great inconvenience to other road users and pedestrians alike. They also ignore No Entry signs.
Perhaps Brighton and Hove City Council could make a concerted effort to remark the roads, especially around this area, where most of the markings have almost been worn away.
I do not think anybody's human rights are being violated. Nobody, but nobody has a right to put safety on the roads in jeopardy.
