It is quite disgusting, with the enormous revenue being created through the new parking regulations, that Brighton and Hove City Council still feels unable to cough up the cash to turn the street lights on along Upper Marine Parade, Brighton.
The pitch blackness of this area at night is not only dangerous but also allows freedom for thieves and vandals to attack the cars parked along there.
My own car has been broken into twice in the past two months. Both times, the street lighting was off.
As taxpayers, surely we are entitled to expect some form of lighting in this busy residential area?
