I have just read about the two Chinese students who were beaten up in the Falmer School grounds (September 4).
It is disgusting this should happen to two people who have come from another country to stay in ours.
How would the youths who did this have liked it if they had been away in another country and had received the same treatment? I very much doubt they would be laughing then.
I have always thought Brighton to be a great place to live in and for people to visit.
I went travelling earlier this year and, of all of the countries I went to, no racist comments were thrown at me and I certainly wasn't beaten up because of my race.
I hope the police manage to catch the people responsible for this before our city becomes a place where no overseas students would want to come and visit.
