Two people walked away unhurt after their aircraft crashed on take-off.
The plane came down in a field between Shoreham airport and Lancing after suffering engine failure last night.
The Sussex Police helicopter was diverted to the scene from another emergency call.
But they found the passenger and the pilot were unhurt.
