I hope enough spirited people who believe in democracy will make the effort to vote No for an elected mayor and deal a blow to the "spin doctors", Messrs Fanshawe, French, Bassam and Bodfish.
At least Mr Fanshawe has had the decency to decline nomination for the post, unlike other members of the "big boys" Yes campaign, who are shamelessly touting for the job.
As for decisive action, after months of time and work proved the only suitable site for the Albion's new ground was Falmer, Mr Bodfish advocated going back to square one, that is, Waterhall - very decisive indeed.
If The Argus finds it curious that there is no reference to the hugely unpopular car parking scheme in the Yes campaign, that is because they fear they may be associated with its inception.
