David Hubbard added to his fast-growing trophy collection with the Youth In Action sports personality prize for August.
The 14-year-old bowls ace secured our award by winning the national under-25s title.
He has also become the youngest winner of the Hove and Kingsway Club Championships after defeating England senior international Leigh Prince 21-19 in the final.
Hubbard, a Hove Park pupil, said: "I'm delighted to receive The Argus trophy, although I'm not sure where I'm going to put it because of all the other ones I have.
"I was very pleased to beat Leigh. He is very experienced and I did it using sky blue bowls for the first time.
"I also used them when I teamed up with my dad, Peter, to win the pairs title at the club championships.
"From now on I'm going to use the bowls in every final I play as my trademark."
Dad Peter added: "We've got a lot of trophies between us and are running out of room at home.
"He has come on very well this year. To beat Leigh is another good effort."
