I read about Mrs Elaine Tubby, who objected spontaneously to the bullfighting photograph displayed in an art gallery on the Isle of Wight (The Argus, September 10).
How can one not fail to sympathise with Mrs Tubby's distress, knowing the cruelty that is so cold-heartedly inflicted on these innocent animals?
How can the presence of this photograph, at an art exhibition no less, not have furthered the cause of this barbaric activity and have provided most unworthy support to those who attempt to justify such savagery under the guise of art?
