The King Alfred Leisure Centre is set to become the new central venue for a number of Sussex table tennis events.
This includes the All-Sussex Senior and Junior Championships next March.
Before then, the six table venue in Hove will host a number of county senior and junior matches, plus Brighton League games.
New Sussex County chairman Trevor Wiramanaden (East Grinstead), making his first appearance in the chair on Sunday at a county meeting at Patcham, said: "A central venue in Sussex with professional staff is something we have been looking for for some time."
Horsham's third team after beating Ipswich 5-3 and Tunbridge Wells 5-3, will gain an extra point because London Progress fielded an ineligible player at Halstead.
Horsham were defeated 6-2 by the leading London club but the league are expected to rule out the illegal player, making the match a 4-4 draw, to keep the Sussex team well into the top half of the table.
Against Ipswich, the young Horsham player Andy Castle was awarded the man-of-thematch after beating two highly ranked women players, Amy Sparkes and Clare Emmison.
